Pineapple cucumber ginger lemon smoothie is one of those smoothie recipes I love making on repeat, because enjoying at least one smoothie a day is part of my routine.
This wholesome and vibrant blend is naturally sweet thanks to frozen pineapple and peach, with a crisp cucumber base, a refreshing squeeze of lemon, and a gentle kick from fresh ginger, mint, and turmeric.
The texture is silky, cold, and ultra-refreshing, while the flavor is bright, lightly tangy, and perfectly balanced.

🔪How To Make Pineapple Cucumber Ginger Lemon Smoothie

Combine. Add frozen pineapple chunks, sliced cucumber, peach, finely chopped fresh ginger, mint leaves, and freshly squeezed lemon juice to a high-speed blender.

Blend. Blend until smooth and creamy, then taste and add maple syrup or agave if you'd like it sweeter.
Hint: Don't have frozen pineapple?
Peel and dice the fresh pineapple, spread it in a single layer on a parchment-lined tray, and freeze for 2-3 hours. Once frozen, transfer the pineapple chunks to a freezer-safe bag or container.
📋Substitutions
- English cucumber: You can use Persian or regular cucumber; if using a regular cucumber, peel and remove the seeds to avoid bitterness.
- Peach: Ripe banana, pear, apricot, plum, or mango work well as substitutes.
- Mint: Fresh basil or parsley can be used instead.
- Ginger: Ginger powder works well-use ¼ teaspoon in place of 1 tablespoon fresh ginger.
- Lemon juice: Lime juice is a great alternative.
- Water: Swap with coconut water or dairy-free milk like almond or oat milk.

💡Marinela's Tips
- Use frozen pineapple and peach for a naturally thick, creamy, and chilled texture without adding ice.
- Peel and seed regular cucumbers to avoid bitterness.
- Choose fresh, fragrant mint for the best flavor.

Ida says
I wish so much I hadn’t added the turmeric… I thought maybe the ginger and pineapple would bury it, but it has such a distinctive taste… I think this would’ve been such a great smoothie without it. I understand the health benefits, but I think people might need to think twice before adding it depending on their tastes.
Marinela Malcheva says
Thanks for your feedback, Ida! I totally get that turmeric can be a bit strong for some tastes. I'm glad you liked the smoothie otherwise, and I agree – it would still be great without it. Appreciate your thoughts!
