Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Silicone mold or any flat container

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cacao powder
  • 185 ml unscented coconut oil melted
  • ¼ cup maple syrup substitute with agave syrup or stevia drops
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract optional
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • First, start by melting the coconut oil in a small saucepan on very low heat if not already melted. Let the oil warm up until liquid. Add maple syrup, and vanilla extract then the cacao powder, and a pinch of salt. With a wooden spoon or whisk mix constantly until everything is combined thoroughly. The mixture shouldn't have clumps.
  • Next, gently pour the cacao mixture into silicone cake molds or any flat container. I used a small heart silicon mold with 24 pieces.
  • Chill it in the freezer until solid. Store any leftovers of your homemade chocolate in the refrigerator or freezer. Enjoy!

Notes

*The mixture that you'll get from this recipe can be poured into any container. For the purpose of this recipe, I used 24 pcs heart silicone mold.
*You can also use coconut butter in place of coconut oil.
*Feel free to use almond, mint, or any extract of choice instead of vanilla.
*Keep your dark chocolate in the fridge.
*You can add nuts, seeds, dry fruits, orange zest, cinnamon, crisped rice cereals or coconut flakes.
