Instructions
In a non-stick pan, combine apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
Heat over medium-low heat and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring gently and frequently to keep the apples intact until soft and caramelized.
Notes
Use a non-stick pan to prevent sticking.
Stir gently to keep apple pieces from breaking apart.
Serve warm for the best flavor, alone or with peanut/cashew butter.
